 
About Africa Ka Mahamba (Owner and Director of e'Kasi Photo Studio)
Africa Ka Mahamba started his photographic career in
 1985 after buying a second hand 126 film Kodak
 camera. In 1987 he managed to buy another second 
hand camera Yashika J5 and the passion for  
photography grew day by day. 
In 1988 Africa started to freelance as a photographer for
 Bophuthatswana newspaper The Mirror which was 
based in  Babelegi in Hammanskraal. He freelanced for 
The  Mail (Now known as Mafikeng Mail) the same year. 
Africa’s pictures had appeared on newspapers and 
magazines  such as Sowetan, New Nation, Sunday 
World, City Press, Daily Sun, Sunday Sun , Bona, 
True Love, Next, Pace, and  many others to name few 
on a long list. On 5 September 2001  he received a 
certificate of achievement from Kodak Professional 
Institute of Photography at Morula Sun hotel 
in Mabopane. 
Africa specialized in weddings, parties, cooperate events,
graduations, funerals, tombstones unveiling, school events
